Default Luxury train service from Washington, DC to WV

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/nation...washingtonpost

Long URL that will probably change. But I don't remember reading about this. $650 per round trip ticket seems steep.

A steam locomotive would power the train’s 15 cars that would include a VIP suite car with private rooms, parlor cars, dining cars, and an open-air car with safety railings.

It certainly doesn't surprise me. The hotel was owned by the C&O Railroad (Later CSX) and RR trips were commonplace back in the day. AND if you can afford the rates at the Greenbrier, you can certainly afford the ticket for a luxury train ride. Many would probably jump at a chance to skip the 250+ mile roadtrip even if their chauffeur was driving.

I was hoping that our racino would aim for train service from D.C. and Balto. as was provided in years past. Maybe they could luxuriate that ride, too.

I don't know Willis. Now that Bal'mr will have their own slots/casinos etc. Will Racino support train service AWAY from CT and the local gambling?? Or is Racino "related" somehow to those in Bal'mr??

I'm waiting until they go to Atlanta. How much do you think that would cost?
