Do you have a menu available online to view? And are families welcome or is this an adult only venue?
here is a old post from them with a menu

Families are very welcome, nearly everyone brings their kids. We also have a playground on the Beach. Thanks for asking! Please visit www.mountainlakeclub.com for the latest menus. We're posting the new menu for this coming weekend on our website tomorrow.

I'm generally pretty good at finding stuff on web sites however finding your menu does not appear to be to easy...
Based on that, I will just ask if you all have tap beer and if so, what is on tap?
- If not, what do you have in bottles?
I second that. I looked all over that page and did not see a menu.
I did see a LOT of embellishments - I would really like to see the path that is a moderate/easy hike to the Appalachian Trail from the Lake . . . please. and the nice walk to the River . . .. or did you mean the one where someone would have to walk to the 4-way stop, then down Mission Road on the curve and hill where is no shoulder down to the river access road where the locals dump their dead deer??
P.S. The flier (or web link) simply invites flaming it is so inaccurate. I had no intention of flaming the MLC - hanging out somewhere other than my own deck on a Friday night and paying for drinks is not my cup of tea but hey to each his/her own. However when an advertisement is so patently embellished to the point of being at best inaccurate, and at worst down right false, it just begs for comment. And it gives me pause as to the rest of claims about good food, good drinks, good atmosphere.

I don't think it's necessary for members of the forum to flame EVERY single post that MLC makes, especially when they appear to be addressing some of the issues that people had with this offering.
The Fridays at the lake sound pretty awesome. I've heard it talked up by several neighbors already. Looking forward to making it out!

Although off topic... some post flaming by more then just members would seem to be an acceptable part of forum fun.
- I'm not saying its right... just pointing it out... plus its worth noting that you do get what you pay for.
- Plus even bad publicity is better then no publicity... right?
- That said, anyone else up for some spillway tubing? I think that would offer real fast and easy acces to the river :-)
As for my main question, I agree that sunset beer with dinner or maybe a snack to start with on a Friday night would be great... so long as they have the types of beer I like. Hosting something like Flying Dog keg tapping parties might even get me to change my schedules around for :-)

Heinekins, Corona & Coors are $3.50 bottle. We are thinking about tap beer but haven't gotten it arranged yet. This is only the 2nd month we're open -- tried to open in 2011 in the midst of renovations, but ended up serving the only 2 people who showed up: Tony and Willis.

Tap beer might be better for parties when you know you'll use it up quickly.
- Thanks for the update... and please let us know if your planning any happy hour or sunset type specials!

It's nice to have a place available in the Mountain neighborhood to relax and chat with friends and neighborsClick the pics for larger views if you're inclined to do so
Many Improvements
The relaxing view from the deck as sunset approaches
Some of the patrons preferred to chat inside over glasses of wine, snacks and sandwiches from the grill.
Ollie the Owl says these are wise selections of brew. Not your favorites? Stop by and chat with the proprietor. If business continues to be successful, more choices will be made available.

This is such a nice place to go on a Friday night. The rennovations and landscaping are beautiful ( as shown in Willis' pictures), the prices are affordable, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food is good. I really wish more people on the mtn. would take advantage of the Fridays at the lake and maybe if they did they could stay open year around!!
