BRILLO Clean-up October 06, 2012

The BRILLO clean-up is being scheduled for October 06, 2012 and it will take place from 8am until 10am. We will meet at the MCC parking lot starting at 0730am. Let’s clean-up of neighborhood. Hope to see you there.

There is just no way I can promise attendance at 7:30am. Likely I've barely gotten to sleep by then.

Did I just see some sort of Facebook invite today? I can't find the darn thing now, but if I could I would say the same thing - I try to avoid picking up trash much before noon.

I cannot make it tomorrow a.m. However, I did pick up the Mission Rd shoulders from the Frontier substation (just south of Lower Clubhouse) to Lake Forest Estates. I will put my 4 orange bags and tire tread with one of the trash piles tomorrow.

Holy cow! And I was all prepared to do my little stretch of Mission Road here by Foodway. How embarrassing is that?

But that's okay. Instead, I'll just do the road out front - Shenandoah River Drive - sometime later in the day if I'm not up at 7:30am. I doubt I'll get 4 bags so I'll probably just put them with my own trash on Monday.

As expected I had to settle for doing my own little loop. There were a few stray bits of new trash on Mission Road near Foodway, but generally Jim had cleaned it quite well. I got 2 bags on Shenandoah River Drive out front, one of which I had to tie off just beyond Oakridge Drive. If anyone is going by there can you please pick it up? Otherwise I'll get it Tuesday.
