Perhaps just the beginning of the night to come. It is still vandalism, a crime and the wrong way to get a point across, right, Longleaf. Or is that OK behavior in your book?
It was probably someone too young to vote who did this. Maybe a teenager who doesn't appreciate how that party gleefully promotes discrimination. I think it's hilarious that the Republicans, the ones who are all strong on defense and are never to be seen as weak - always act like drama queens over petty stuff. I mean, seriously. At least Nancy Pelosi didn't cry - as in actual crying - constantly while she was house speaker.
CD,
Perhaps you are right. Perhaps some young person maybe a baby or a 3 year old, threw a rock through the window of the Republican office (for the second time this year). Perhaps I am acting like a drama queen, bringing this to the attention to who will listen. Perhaps vandalism and violence is not a bad thing at all during elections. Perhaps this may be the world you want for you and your child. It is not the world I want.

It probably was someone angry with the FC BoComm since the Republicans are not likely to win many statewide elections. Of course it could be someone who did not take kindly to the ballot initiatives. I agree it is not right to use this form of intimidation on election day or any time.
It's just another indication of this country's downward spiral as we get closer and closer to being the third world society that so many in this country are striving for.

It is terrorism, plain and simple. It's wrong and human beings shouldn't behave this way.
And re: drama queens. If this had happened at Black Dog's new store, every single person here would be outraged and horrified.

For what it's worth, at the opening bell, the only stock (out of many) that I own that went up this morning, was Smith and Wesson. Perhaps this is our future.
“Quite frankly, at this point, it’s not something that we accept as appropriate behavior, but it’s just not necessary,” Ropp said. (from the Frederick News Post) (see sw33's posting 11/06/12)
Whether democrat, republican or independent, IMHO, I think all of us, agree. As for me, I'm just d---n glad this whole charade is over.

Rocks get thrown through windows all the time; let's not read more into this than is called for. It's quite possible the kids that did it really don't care who was renting the place at the time. If it was a gang of disgruntled Democrat terrorists they probably would have smashed the door completely, as well as the window, and trashed the place and stolen/smashed everything of value instead of just leaving it.
Good point Tony. Did you see it happened twice? Probably a rock thrown from a passing car or perhaps a meteorite. Either way, it's OK, it appears to be the new way of life. I am ready for it. Bring it on.
Is this a new Rock Paper Scissors where the Rock now wins?
Sad how actioins such as this is acceptable depending on who the is action is against. Or perhaps its just acceptable no matter who is against. Dang times are tuff!

Not OK. Never OK. I hope the punk who did it gets busted. OK?
Still, I think you were jumping to conclusions about further acts of violence. Furthermore, you were using a rock-throwing in Frederick to suggest that there may be even more mayhem to come, that this was just the beginning, etc.
I think we all may need to calm down a bit.
