Grand jury indicts more in Jefferson County

CHARLES TOWN? Grand jurors in Jefferson County issued indictments Thursday against Steven B. Mathis, 42, and William R. Hause, 44, both of Kearneysville, for one count of bank robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state.
According to court documents, the two are accused of threatening a female Bank of Charles Town employee with violence unless she gave them an undisclosed amount of money.
Other indictments include:
?Lori A. Himmerlight, 23, of Chesire Road in Bunker Hill, was indicted on one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one count of transportation of a controlled substance into the state of West Virginia.
?Mark Henry Craig, 33, was indicted on three counts of forgery and three counts of uttering.
?Gary Winston, 19, of Kearneysville, was indicted on one count of malicious assault and one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state.
?Robert William Nichols, 35, of Shenandoah Junction, was indicted on one count of burglary, one count of domestic battery and one count of destruction of property.
?James N. Hayslette, 38, of Presidential Drive in Inwood, was indicted on a charge of obtaining money, goods, or property by false pretenses.
?Laurie Ann Barber, 38, of Mordington Avenue in Charles Town, was indicted for obtaining money, property, or services by fraudulent schemes.
?Timothy Dewayne McKinney, 40, of Harpers Ferry, was indicted on one count of driving under the influence of alcohol third offense, one count of failure to yield right of way. one count of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver?s license, one count of failure to carry and exhibit a vehicle registration card to a police officer on demand, one count of operating a motor vehicle on a public highway without security or insurance on the vehicle and one count of driving a motor vehicle while his license or privilege to operate a motor vehicle had been lawfully revoked for driving under the influence.
?Kenneth S. Dillow, 43, of Ranson, was indicted on a charge of domestic battery, third offense.
?Kasem D. Humphrey, 22, of South West Street in Charles Town, was indicted on one count of malicious assault and one count of conspiracy to commit an offense against the state.
?Maurice L. Hough, 21, of Hessey Street in Charles Town, was indicted on one count of malicious assault and one count of conspiracy to commit crimes against the state.
?David N. Thomas, 31, of Washington, D.C., was indicted on one count of transportation of a schedule I controlled substance into West Virginia, and one count of possession with intent to deliver a schedule I controlled substance.
?Randy S. Humphrey, age and address unlisted, was indicted on one count of malicious assault and one count of conspiracy to commit crimes against the state.
?Charles William Breeden, age and address unlisted, was indicted on a charge of domestic battery, third offense.
?John Ester Berry III, age and address unlisted, was indicted on a charge of persistent failure to provide support to minor children in accordance with and by virtue of a court for twelve consecutive months.
