Mary-2003
Mary Schroder passed away late last week. Mary and her late husband Bill were among the first settlers of the Shannondale Club Subdivision. I won't begin to extol her virtues, which are too numerous to mention. I will say that without her fervor for taking snapshots, we certainly wouldn't have such a copious visual record of the Shannondale Club. Mary, I and all the Alumni thank you. I'll wager you're taking photos already "upstairs".

A viewing for Mary will be held at the new St James Church in Charles Town on this coming Wednesday, Nov. 1st from 2-4 pm It will be followed By a Mass at 7pm and a viewing from 8-9pm. On Thursday the 2nd, another viewing will be held from 1-2pm directly followed by Funeral services at the church. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Harpers Ferry, followed by a get-together at the church that evening.

I may have gotten some of the details a tad amiss, but an obituary in the Journal day after tomorrow should give the straight dope.
