    Talking I have been asked...

But considering that they are so in demand... not sure I should give up my jalapenos...

    Ok here goes:

Go to the store get nice firm medium size jalapenos ( not wrinkled).

Also get some cream cheese and cheddar cheese, and you will need cheap bacon. Also if you have no tooth picks you need those.

Come home start drinking tequila (this part is a must and requires good tequila).

Get some rubber gloves if you think you might rub your eyes or anywhere else for a while ( put them on).

Get some olive oil... oh wait that is for some thing else...

Cut the tops off of the jalapenos, then cut them in half lengthwise to form a "boat". Scrape out all the seeds and the ribs of the pepper. This way they are not too hot for Mountain Folk.

Start heating oven to 450 or start outdoor grill as the smoke flavor really sets them off.

Fill the boat with cream cheese. Slice cheddar in small enough pieces to fit over the cream cheese, wrap 1/2 slices of bacon around the entire pepper and cheese combination. Install teeth picking device to hold it together. Put into cookie sheet with foil

Start taking off clothes to cool off.. your going to need it.

Put peppers into cooking device and cook until bacon is done. Scrape peppers and the cheese that has melted out of the foil and begin eating....

Man, keep the recipe to yourself, it adds to the excitement of your coming to a function. Your Jalepenos are the bomb. Keep up the good peppering!!

    Default There were there.

But them things goes fast. There even was a special tasting committee that got to approve of them before they went to the pic nic. I only made four cookie sheets of them, about 3 pounds of peppers, 2 lbs of cheddar, four packages of cream cheese, and Last count, about 4 or 5 packages of bacon...
Sorry you guys missed it but I like to make them so be prepared next time

They were awesome! I had 3 of them at the beginning of the picnic. We are putting together a cookbook. Some of the gals and I have been collecting recipes so feel free to send them our way by posting on here or PMing myself, June or Wormdoc. We could use some more. We're not sure how long it will take to put the whole thing together. Lots of typing, you know.

Loved those peppers. I kind of put 2 and 2 together on the ingredients, but thanks for posting. Excellent!
