We had mentioned in the discussion of an earlier trip how the road to the river gate was rough but navigable by vehicle(provided the river's water level cooperates!). This Photo was taken just starting up river(south) off the macadam surface leading to the boat ramp at the end of Shannondale Springs Road. I think we will refer to this route as Shannondale Springs Road, extended.

We refer to the road to paradise in the title. Well, those of you who didn't make this trip missed a glorious day in a wonderland of nature. Not having cgallos hitech camera equipment, we're going to intersperse our slideshow with some images lifted from other sources.
