Catherine Brick Anderson of Winchester, VA:  June 5^th, 2005.  Devoted wife of 59 years to Samuel A. Anderson, loving mother to her sons Garry and Richard, and caring grandmother to four.  Born in Evans, NY, in 1919 and raised in Eden, NY, she relocated to work for the Federal Government in war-time Washington, DC, where she met Samuel, married and raised her family beginning in the Maryland suburbs and later in Shannondale, Harpers Ferry, WV.  She enjoyed over 30 years of retirement with her husband, traveling extensively and residing in Arizona and Florida before returning to the area in recent years.   She was active in numerous organizations, but most fondly remembered her participation in the Shannondale Women’s Club.  She was preceded in death by her two sisters Josephine Brick and Margaret Kontner.  Her husband and sons wish to thank her friends, neighbors and the Winchester community at large for their support during these past few stressful months.   Memorial service to be held at 1:00 PM, June 14^th at St. Bridget of Ireland Catholic Church, Berryville, VA.
