Picking blackberries was a favorite during the summer. Once, at the corner of Cornpone and
Highview, I stepped up onto the corner mound to pick and noticed a tingling in my legs. Looked down to
discover that I was covered with big red ants. I jumped into the road, and was smacking myself,
and flapping my arms and ripping my cloths off. Wonder if anyone saw? If so, I'm sure they
thought I was a raving lunatic.
