Bob and Freida Klaase

We don't have much information about this couple and we SHOULD. Bob and Freida represented the epitome of what  Shannondalians should be. They were both active in Club and mainstays of our community. If anyone has more information, photos, or tributes to this lovely couple, both of whom have passed on, please contact us at the website.
 
What little we have refers to an obituary as follows:                                     HARPERS FERRY - Freida June Klaasse, 72, of Harpers Ferry died Sept. 13, 1997, in Charleston(sic)
She was a retired accountant from Lever Brothers Inc., Baltimore, with 40 years' service, a Methodist, and a member of Shannondale Club LTD and Shannondale Woman's Club, both in Harpers Ferry.
Surviving: nephews and nieces.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Shannondale Springs Chapel, Harpers Ferry, with the Rev. Harold L. Jones Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town. There will be no visitation. Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Animal Welfare Society, P.O. Box 147, Charles Town, W.Va. 25414.
