Yes, I am affected by MJ's trial. My granny cottage is rented out by a reporter from the Assoc Press from LA for the duration. His name is Tim Molloy if you'd like to read any of his articles which are published from my backyard to points all over the universe!
And when I try to take my usual route to the Mall to go shopping, I must pass by the courthouse and all the motorcycle police, barricades, temporary fences, etc. It's a zoo here.
Of course, Lacy & Scott Peterson went to school & met in San Luis Obispo, which is just up the road from here, and is also where I work. My clinic Dr's wife is a photographer and just so happens to have taken the Peterson's wedding photos, and the restaurant that they once owned is now for sale again.
So, we're in the midst of all the juicy trials, it seems....
