Dearest Bill,
I finally found the web site and I am doing fine. Yes, the gentleman in the picture is my
first husband Bruce Wilkie( Photo #296).
I have had a total of four children and they are grown and all doing well. Bristow,
Oklahoma, is far from flat. I have beautiful rolling hills and lots of trees. The
panhandle is flat, and sparsely clad in trees, covered mostly in prairie grasses, and a
very large selection of wild flowers in the spring. It really is very beautiful here. I
have had a great deal happen over the last many (35) years and most life has truly been an
adventure for me. I lived in Michigan for 21 years and have lived here for in Oklahoma for
ten of the 35. I have had to opportunity to drive through many of the United States , and
found Oklahoma to be the place I wanted to settle. I will let my children, all four, know
about the web site, and let them decide if they want to write. My children range in ages
of 33 to 29, and I have 4 grandchildren by blood and 7 with the extended family. I have
also added one more child to my life, she is 15. It is a challenge to keep up. This
Walters/Myers still is in love with living life and enjoys every moment that I can.
Marge, and John keep me up on some of the people from the mountain and I was there for my
50th birthday in 2000. So many houses have been built. I was also so sorry to hear the
clubhouse had burnt down, but we did not need the club to have good times. I remember many
times at the Liars Club, stables, and just down on the river. Take care and I hope to hear
from you.
