Jessie Nowell proudly holds the ceramic horn of plenty she won at a Women's Club meeting. Such treasures were raffled off at the meetings as yet another means of raising that much needed dinero for the WC's many worthy projects. We think that this particular piece now resides in Romney WV and is used as a centerpiece at Thanksgiving Dinners at Beth Nowell(Parsons) country estate.
