This fuzzy B&W is of the bridge which separated the "upper campground" from the rest of the area. The stream was the one that flows under Mission Road at the foot of "Johnson's Hill". The Swabs were consummate campers. One of the many such family groups that preferred "roughing it" to the relative comfort of the cabins in the mountainside. We have very few photos of the campers and the campground, or that great place for a sandwich and soda, the Liar's Club. Keep looking thru those albums and slides!!
