Most of the early settlers recall having to carry water to their cabins until a  source was established. There were several options available. Among them were springs in Silver Grove and in Mannings, and well water was available first at the administration Building and then at the well in front of the clubhouse. The Richardson's obviously favored the spring on Rolling Lane. Here, Granddad Robinson Sr. collects water while grandkids Monte and Peggy mug for the camera.
