We don't often include photos "off the reservation" but these guys, early pioneers all, were having lunch in town when this pic was snapped. It was taken in Wal-Mart Plaza on the West end of Charles Town. Shown are John Schwenzer, Ria Briscoe, Georgianne Schwenzer, Dorcas Callan and Helen Grimm. These families immigrated to the 'dale from the 'burbs over 35 years before the time of the picture. All have passed on(2005) but Ria, who is still ... well, she's still RIA, exactly as you remember her, if you have had the pleasure of her acquaintance!!!
