Margaret Kern, widow of Ray Kern Sr., Has sorted thru some old photos(Golly, I wish all of you would do the same) and given us the go-ahead to post some images of her late husband(known to most of us old-timers) and his first wife, Hattie. Hattie passed away in the mid 1970's if memory of the H.W. serves correctly. Ray lived on Gingerbread Lane at the corner of its intersection with Red Fox. Someday we can start ID'ing these locations with 911 addressing now in place in Jefferson County(in 2006). BTW, they had one child, Ray jr. who was active as a teen in the 'dale in the 50's. We'd love to hear from him.
