Many of the cabins along Gingerbread Lane were of this particular log design. We don't know much about the builder. A later vertical log construction was called the Bellair and built by a contractor name Bill Bridges. We'll see if we can come up with an example. But, this was the start of the Kern's home. It evolved into a full time residence as did most of Our Cabins The pines were typical of the neighborhood which included Bill and Millie Johnson, The Phipps, Adkins and other S'dale Longtimers.
