We won't delve to deeply into the history of the club here, but in 1978 a group of Shannondalians bought the club from the Johnson family and operated under the name Shannondale Club Limited. To help with the operating costs, it wasn't unusual for the member/owners to be seen pitching in, cooking and serving food and drink. Shown above are three of those members acting in dual roles, Bill Schroder Sr., Aggie Thomas, and Bill Bienert. Those workers sure look contented- we suppose they love their bosses!
