The old guard shack wore many hats after the opening of the roads to the public. When the Club was sold to Shannondale Club Ltd., a consortium of residents, the structure above was moved to the back of the parking area of what is now the mail shed area. It served in this instance as a staging area for the trash collection crew. There are some great stories about the shack and the guards who worked there.
