We just talked to Jim at his cabin on the corner of Laurel Hill and Upper Clubhouse today(8-9-2003). He still travels up to maintain the Bellair log cabin that was built in 1960. The Coles were among the first to buy in the 'dale way back in 1956.Upper Clubhouse Drive dead ended just past Laurel Hill at that time. Their Bellair brand log cabin was the first of many to be constructed over the years. They were characterized by cathedral ceilings, open beam bracing and vertical log siding. Handsome indeed and fitting the mountain setting to a Tee. Say hello to your wife for us, Jim. We hope she's feeling better soon.
