In our humble opinion (IOHO in computer shorthand), the Sara and Wally Montague house on Johnnycake Lane is one of the most intriguing in Shannondale. Anyone traveling out Johnnycake will have seen the true log cabin styled home on the East side of the road next to last before Cottontail Road. Here we see Ria and Jim seated on the half log stair treads imbedded in the fireplace stonework. The steps lead to a loft above and behind the chimney. Again, IOHO, a sure fire way to assure one goes to bed sober!!! We hear that the Montague's son, Rob, lives in the cabin. We'd love to hear from all three of them!!!
