Well, way back in 1959 you didn't have to worry about staggering into the lake after to many brewskis but you might be seeing an orthopedic surgeon later that day. Obviously the lake remains a future happening but the pool offered plenty of cooling recreation in its stead. The pool's changing rooms were still in the basement of the clubhouse, ergo the crowd of sun lovers on the Trophy Room's patio.
