Poor old dear, deer head, not only a victim of the hunt, but humiliated with a red nose at Xmas time. Remember that roaring fire. The fire's woodpile was situated on the concrete apron behind the Teen Room. Jack Cunningham refers to it as a "magic woodpile" which always seemed to have a never-ending supply of liquor hidden deep within its logs. The editors always believed that the booze fairy would put it there prior to teen dances. We KNOW that no one would jimmy the latches on those liquor lockers, nosireebob!
