The Heflins were among the first 50 members of the Shannondale Community Club. Their cabin was on the northernmost leg of what will shortly be called Shenandoah River Road. Remarkably the house looks quite similar to what it did way back when, an unusual circumstance in the modern day 'dale! Mother, the horse, birthed the foal, Poker Chip, in Shannondale.
