Richard Lyon sent in this photo showing our Clubhouse. A good view of what we called "Buzzards Knob" in the background at about 1530 feet in elevation. The Appalachian Trail follows the crest of the mountain and crosses State Route ( at Keyes Gap. Richard wanted to remind us that in the "Olden Days" Shannondale Road was one-way up the mountain to Valley View Drive. From there one hoped that they wouldn't encounter anyone headed in the opposite direction!
