Club Ltd was the penultimate owner of our now legendary Clubhouse. A consortium of former Community Club members purchased the facilities in 1978 and ultimately sold them in1999. Despite trying "every trick in the book" the Club never turned a profit. Despite its eventual demise, we take our hats off to the tireless volunteers who worked in every capacity at the club( from Manager to Greasetrap Cleaner) to try to keep it going. And even though it did not succeed financially, it surely provided a wealth of good times to store in our memories. As with the newsletter in the previous frame, we would hope to eventually have these issues available on our website. Reading them is a virtual trip down memory road!!!
