One of the Women's Club's projects was to provide Xmas cheer to residents of a local nursing home, Locust Grove operated by the Reverend Franklin Myers and his wife(it has since closed). Here we see Ethel handing out gifts to Albert Buxton and Charles Wills. This endeavor was one of the most gratifying of the club's outreach to the Jefferson County community. Gosh, we sure hope that the Women's and Garden Clubs won't remain in mothballs long!!!!
