In keeping with our frenetic and haphazard ways, we take a side trip to the Ed and Doris Williams family. Ed, as has been mentioned earlier, wrote articles for the Journal and the Spirit of Jefferson Newspapers after "retiring" to S'dale. We'll link to The Ed and Doris' Page HERE. You can find out more about Ed and we eventually hope to have more on Doris, too. The photos above are quintessential S'dale home transformation. CW from the upper left- 1960, 1967, 1982, 1984- the final addition was considerably larger than the original cabin. The Williams bought property in 1956 and camped until they built their vacation home. Their two children, Randy and Crystal, grew up as teens in the 'dale.
