For the uninitiated a bit of history. The building where a daycare center now exists(2004) was once a 600 square foot model home( that's about as big as some storage sheds nowadays) in which Bud, Evelyn and Mickey Johnson lived. Over the years, the Johnsons added room after room, a capacious garage, an enclosed patio and other amenities. The home was later purchased by Tom McDermott and his wife Nancy when Bud and Evelyn became permanent "snowbirds" in Florida. In the above photo Evelyn looks ready to start out on an outing after admiring the flowers and having her photo snapped.
