Before S'dale became "suburbanized" the Hunting and Fishing Club was a major part of Club activities. While both activities in out area still abound in the area, given our Shenandoah River and the Wildlife Management Areas adjacent to our community, they lack the camaraderie that the H&F club afforded its members. Old-timers remember telling tall tales at the Liars' Club or harrowing yarns about the hunt while sitting in front of the fire in the Trophy Lounge. Art and Barbara have provided the picture of the patches above, the sort of mementos for which we're looking to capture on the website. Now, come on, you H&F club members, and share your stories with our audience. Art has a good tale posted on the message board  under tales of the 50's. Check it out!!!
